If you enjoy solving mysteries, it doesnвЂ™t get much better than this. To avoid spoilers, letвЂ™s just say it gets significantly weirder than Mutiny on the Bounty. ItвЂ™ll make you think games with a lot of bugs arenвЂ™t so bad, after all. Our hero isnвЂ™t even a standard fantasy knight as you might think for the screenshots instead, theyвЂ™re a beetle-sized battler exploring an insect realm called the Hallownest. ItвЂ™s a darn good shooter, too, but one of the rare ones thatвЂ™ll also leave you asking uncomfortable questions about the nature of reality and this country once the smoke clears.

Along the way, youвЂ™ll meet Elizabeth, who remains one of the most intriguing A.I. The first BioShock (2007) was groundbreaking, but this sequel breaks away from the ground entirely and takes us to a floating city founded on the worst excesses of American exceptionalism.
